The Southside Dream Neighborhoods will feature intradistrict modules that reflect the demographics of the area. The modules can be used to developers interested in investing in housing and neighborhood development in the SEDD District.

Modules would consist of mini-subdivisions that will feature parks, off street play grounds and parks and other amenities.
In areas with a large senior citizen demographic the modules will contain off street parks, and adult day care and health facilities.

In areas with a large teen and preteen population, the modules will include off street parks, basketball courts, day care facilities, and after school safe houses.

Each module would feature all of the components of the “Model Neighborhoods” such as closed ditches, community policing, Solar Energy, etc.

The dream is for South Monroe to be a model 21st neighborhood suitable for business investment, and neighborhood revitalization activity.
